These work great as reteaching/remediation/self-start in second grade also.

That's right, for the next 14 days, you can get this FULL pack of daily review (enough to do 4 days a week for the entire month of November) for only $2.25!!

But, that's not even the best part!
For me, the very best part is what Steve and Debbie at Teacher's Notebook are going to do with every purchase made in my shop from November 1 - November 15!

They have offered to donate MATCHING FUNDS of every sale in my shop over those 14 days to CureSearch - the leading pediatric cancer research foundation - in Kenton's name.
Do you realize what this means for children suffering through pediatric cancer?!

CureSearch uses 97 cents of every dollar donated directly in research of pediatric cancer.
NINETY-SEVEN CENTS!!!

I genuinely appreciate every single sale, not only because your purchases will be providing Christmas for my children this year, but because for the next 14 days, your purchases will be providing funding for the one thing that has been our family's heartbreak over the past 4 months.

My heartfelt appreciation goes out to Steve and Debbie for their willingness to spread the word about pediatric cancer and to donate to CureSearch!

Please join us.
Be part of the cure.
Thank you!

[The First TEN days] Daily Review

I LOVED using these Daily Review sheets in my classroom at the end of the year last year.
My hope is that by introducing them at the beginning of the year (aka TODAY!!!), my students will become familiar and comfortable enough with the format to take some risks when the problem solving problems become more challenging as the year goes on. . .

These sets take A LOT of time to create.
Each sheet has to have the same format but different problems/questions.

Love them?
The FULL set of TEN SHEETS is only $3 at Teacher's Notebook.
I'd LOVE to see my "follower" number hit 350. . .bring some new friends by, and IF I hit 350 today, I'll set up a FREE download hour or two for this item only.  :)

[Daily Review] 5 page freebie

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
I hope you're getting spoiled by your students, your PTA, and your school!

Did you pick up the Reading_Handwriting Fluency freebie I posted yesterday?

I have another freebie for you today!
Today's freebie is a set of FIVE daily review sheets!
Each sheet has sentence editing, sentence expansion, and math fact review.
These take about 10 minutes for my average students to complete.
We read the sentences all together, and then I turn them loose to complete the review.

If you can use these in your classroom, please take them, pin them, love them, you know how this all works.
If you're interested in more Daily Review Sheets, please check out my shop on Teacher's Notebook where you can pick up 4 week's worth of Daily Review sheets all on sale at 25% off!

Have a great day!

[Daily Review 10 pack]

I have a few of you that are LOVING the daily review sheets.  :)
I use these every day to do a quick check on my littles' progress.
They take just about 10 minutes for my average littles to complete - the math is pretty tough on this set, so I'm going to give them about 15 minutes to complete these this week.

After they complete the page independently and hand it in, we go through the page together as a class on the projector.  This gives those kids that really didn't understand what to do that bit of knowledge they might need to begin progressing.  I make my littles talk through every step.  Every reason.  They are learning to think and speak not only mathematically, but also in regards to sentence editing and expansion.  I've notice a HUGE difference in their writing after asking them to expand a sentence each day!!

I just posted the 10 pack (2 week's worth!) on Teacher's Notebook.
Hop on over and check it out if you're interested.

Thanks for supporting me in my little Teacher's Notebook adventure.
I appreciate each and every sale!

[Daily Review] v2

$1 for the whole set.
Doesn't include the spelling activities - I'm using the same ones from this week.  :)
Included activities are:
* Sentence Editing for capitilization and punctuation (4 sentences)
* Sentence Expansion (1 question to expand 1 of the edited sentences)
* Math Fact Practice (9 problems including 3 that have the equal sign on the "wrong side" according to my littles)

Here's a little FREEBIE for  you.

Hop on over to the shoppe if you're interested in the whole set.

Happy Saturday!

After I teach piano, I intend to spend most of the day doing not a whole lot of anything. . .except I think I have 2 or 3 people that are hoping to schedule a photo shoot weather permitting.  That's okay.  Those are fun and quick and make me some extra dollars.  :)

[I'm baaaack!] and a spelling review freebie

Wow.  Spring Break was AWESOME!

We spent way too much money.  Played way too hard.  And really had a great time!

We *started* reorganizing the craft room/Grammy's room.
About half of the stuff we took out of that room is still stacked in the living room.
Sigh.  One day I'll get it put back where I want it.
One day as in BEFORE SATURDAY!
That's my goal.
Wish me luck!!

Bubs spent most of the week at Grammy's house.  He went to "work" for my Aunt and Uncle on the dairy farm.  lol.  He made $31 and even swore at a cow!!  ;)

Little Miss now has glasses.  Picked them up on Monday.
She looks adorable!
Jelly came to play one day.  They spent the entire day together.
Seriously!  From 10:30 - 5:30!!
Awesome.

Yesterday we headed to SLC to Primary Children's Medical Center to see one of Bubba's dearest friends who has been there for over a week with a very rare reaction to pneumonia.  It was really hard for him to see her hurting so much.  Prayers for a quick and complete recovery for our sweet friend Cha-Cha would be much appreciated.
(No, Cha-Cha isn't her real name.  It's just what we've always called her.  She and Bubs were ballpark babies together, went to the same daycare, and attend school together).

It was a good blogging break, too.
I appreciate the comments left on the [sigh] post.
My thoughts are that I either need to suck it up and realize that this is how it is or stop blogging.  I don't want to stop.  So, I guess that means I'll have to suck it up.
Do me a favor though, please?
Make an effort to comment on blogs when you take the freebies.
Really, a comment doesn't take long compared to the time spent creating that freebie.

Hopping off my soapbox.  :)

Here's a fun little spelling review freebie for you.
My littles need to practice copying their words every day.
They also need LOTS of practice with dictation!
My littles will be using this DAILY REVIEW packet (sentence editing, making great sentences, and math fact practice) each day this week, with SPELLING REVIEW (5 different activities) run on the back.  I think after a full week off, we're going to need LOTS of review!!  The FULL 10 page DAILY REVIEW pack is available on Teacher's Notebook for a mere $2.  If you need a quick and easy review, hop on over and check it out.

Have a happy week!
I'm thinking I need a break to recover from my break!!
