[Up and Down to 20]

This is a slightly easier version of "On Beyond" that I posted in the spring.
This set focuses on representations of numbers 0-20 (although I'm only using 0-10 for the first few weeks of school).  The representations for each number include the numeral, the number word, and a ten frame visual.
Directions are included.
I think this is going to be a much loved game in my classroom!

  1. So, just a question, can they use any representation of the number to keep their pile going? I looks awesome to teach these concepts. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Great question, Cindy! Sorry I didn't make that clear in the instructions. Yes, any representation can be used to keep the pile going. It really gets the kids thinking about numbers and helps them become very familiar with the representations. I am currently working on an "add on" set of cards for this game that has the base ten blocks as a representation. There will then be an "add on" set that uses expanded notation in words also. :)
