Happy Forced Affection Day! ;)
I hate, hate, hate Valentine's Day! HATE it!
Except the part where I get to celebrate it having a manners tea party with my littles!
That part I love, love, love!
During the day we'll be doing lots and lots of fun Valentine's Day math, writing, listening activities, and spelling. How glad I am that people share such great ideas all over the blogging community! We'll end the day with our tea party. So fun!
(And then I have to get to go present at a district meeting for new teachers about academic rigor and accountable talk, but that's a whole other story. . .gulp.sigh.).
Here's my contribution to the wonder of Valentine's Day - the academic side.

Please say thanks if you take this.
Happy {heart} Day!
And if you're looking for a fun little Love Monster Glyph (easy enough for our first grade littles), check out this cutie bug activity from Abby at The Wizard of Boz. . .
Thank you for this fun activity for the kids.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great "Forced Attention Day" :).
Thank you! Thank you! I'm still figuring this whole blogging thing out, but I love that you shared my activity! I am now your newest followers! I apparently can get a lot of great teaching ideas AND blogging ideas from you. :)
