We are working on writing our Autobiographies in First Grade.
Last week the kids did a "KNOW" and "WANT TO KNOW" organizer uisng some questions that I given them.
They took their organizers home to have their grown-ups help them complete the information.
I LOVED listening to their stories of the information they found out - especially the stories about why their parents gave them the name they did.
My little kiddos are super excited about this project!
Today we will create our Self Portraits to use for the cover of our autobiographies.
Each day we will carefully write the answer to one question and create the illustration paying special attention to conventions and presentation.
At the end of this experience, I will bind the kids' books and they will have an awesome little autobiography.
It's going to be awesome!
