I LOVE teaching the different parts of a sentence to first graders!
They get so excited to know that each part has a special name.
We've done lots of farmer in the dell activities (I'll write more about that later), so they are pretty familiar with adjectives, nouns, verbs, and prepositional phrases.
Today's Skittles® activity is all about adjectives and is bound to be lots of fun!
Can't wait to share this day with my kiddos!
